Ricochet Ronin
Game Description
Ricochet Ronin is 2D Platforming, Bullet Hell in which players play the Ronin, practicing Yadomejutsu, to reflect his enemies' projectiles back at them in a Wild West meets Feudal Japan world.

My Role
As Team Lead of Ricochet Ronin I practiced an agile production pipeline coordinating scrum meetings each week and enforcing a production timeline. Coordinating meetings between a team of ten members proved to be challenging as well as teaching them technical skills to implement their assets and use source control individually for their specific roles but over a ten week period I was able to help every member contribute to the project.

Furthermore, I developed the major game mechanics: the movement, enemy behavior, bullet behavior, reflection mechanic, ricochet mechanic, and aiming. View the gifs below to see these mechanics in isolation.
I designed the level you see in the video to the right.

The largest problem which occurred was migrating my controls to the Unity's new input system using Action Maps, specifically the direction in which the player aimed returned a specific value which I then used to determine the angle in which a projectile would reflect.
